We’re so excited to announce our official partnership with 1% for the Planet & Eden Reforestation Projects!

At Ooni, two of our core values are passion and kindness. We’re passionate about enabling everyone to cook and enjoy great pizza, as well as about being a company for good – that’s why 1% of our annual turnover is actively managed for social and environmental causes.

We’ve officially become a member of 1% for the Planet, joining their mission to bring “dollars and doers together to accelerate smart environmental giving”. 1% for the Planet is a global movement inspiring businesses and individuals to support environmental solutions through annual membership and everyday actions. There are so many leading businesses that have joined the movement, like Patagonia, Klean Kanteen, Peak Design and King Arthur Flour just to name a few.

Eden Reforestation Projects is a non-profit partner of 1% for the Planet – it’s an amazing organisation that runs initiatives in Nepal, Madagascar, Haiti, Kenya, Indonesia & Mozambique to reduce extreme poverty and restore healthy forests by employing locals to plant millions of trees every year.

Our new partnership with 1% for the Planet & Eden Reforestation Projects means that when you order an Ooni pizza oven, 1% of the turnover from those orders goes directly to planting trees in our dedicated tree planting area in Madagascar! By the end of 2019, we will have helped to plant over 1 million trees there.
